I had a G plate Audi 80 Sport (bucket type seats and split rim ( or were they one piece?) wheels. Felt well made and was 100% reliable, it was a great car. When i bought it the seats were filthy and the ignition lock was dangling from the column, but some good clean seats and a steering lock mechanism were obtained very easily. Not seen one for a few years now, which considering their build quality is a little surprising.

My first thought = "God, that's cheap"
Yes does seem an awful lot of car for the money. Maybe there is a hidden problem.

Proves that all that is needed to most cars is a lowering and a set of nice wheels and you're home. Proper.

RS alloys and large exhaust trim aren't going to fool the hills you'll have to wheeze up in this!

Not the most popular Gti incarnation but looks mint and not too much money.

Too many doors and too few valves, but I forgive it.

This thread wants me to add an old hot (warm/tepid by today's standards) hatch or simple little car to the fleet.
