That is a lovely, lovely thing. Someone here buy it before it turns up on W124 at 6k...

Not too keen on the wheels though but if I had the spare cash...

That is very nice indeed.

I'm tempted to go and have a squint at that tomorrow, seeing as it's just ten minutes drive away.

I was just about to post that. What a funny looking thing, interesting history as well. How do these old semi autos work and are they trouble?

It's a lovely combination - 24v engine, black, and leather. The driver's seat put my off a little - my w124 is pretty perfect at 175k. There's no mention of any suspension replacement (it looks quite low to me), or wings - and they ALL need these to drive well at this age, unfortunately.

If it is the same as the DS, you have a column next to the steering wheel which you use to select gears and no clutch. It works OK but slow compared to a normal automatic, and very very slow compared to a manual, slow enough to make it feel dangerous in real world applications.
I prefer the GX with the space age binnacle

ETA- I see in the photos it has a conventional gear stick, so not the same as the DS.

C-matic rather than BVH. My CX was a C-Matic until not long before I bought it, but it broke and was converted to manual by the previous owner.
