The Carlton is good, especially as a 3.0 24v manual

The Alfa's are stunning, having a penchant for 80's Italian bikes, (Jota and mk 1 Le Mans) I succombed to one a few years back, albeit the 156 2.4 tractor. Totally joyous as it was ruinous turning me to shedding once I emerged from the padded cell.
Why do I still hanker after one?

At that price for the 156 V6 tempted to bin the ubiquitous MX5 for planned Europe jaunt. Then Woody comes along ( who will be third party in my divorce papers) with the 3 litre GTV and the ISA trembles.

Fantastic thread.

Linked from the clean Celica earlier was this MR2 which is not going to be to all tastes but I rather like it:

Nice MR2, but those wheels are way too big for it and would probably completely fk up the ride and handling.
