Also seems expensive. Not really one for this thread, I don't think....far better old/retro cars available for £3200.

OK, the wheels are subjective and wouldn't have been my first choice had it been mine.

It's the higher end of the bracket price wise but it is in outstanding condition.

WRT age and status, so this....

And this...

Are OK but not the Mazda?

Not seeing it myself.

No matter, ignore it and move on.

Up to you what you ignore; that's the beauty of the internet smile . It's just an opinion, and commenting on one car doesn't necessitate validating every other one.... my comment was just that your mate's bling-wheeled but otherwise mundane MX5 for £3200 wasn't a very exciting choice. Sorry - no personal offence intended! That Alfa Spyder looks lovely, if a bit overpriced and unfortunately only the TS rather than the V6!

I think the issue is that it is an expensive MX5, of which there are 100's. Plus your link didn't work, so most people are probably going solely on the photo. Hopefully this link will work https://www.facebook.com/tomm.campbell/posts/10153...

I still think it is over priced, and as said the wheels will put people off.

Someone is getting a bargain. If they keep on top of the rust and general maintenance then it won't lose any value.

A VW made only for the Brazilian market with a Bettlish engine. The SP2

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Volkswagen_SP2

ETA- scrap that it looks more like a VW Variant fast back, but with different detailing.

Outstanding condition with holes in the roof, 75k on the clock and vitally almost all of the nice R-Limited bits missing, in most cases replaced by nasty looking crap (The wheels, both road and steering are dire). Really?

£3200 is actual insanity. If MX5s are your bag you can get into a MK3 for around that rofl

Oh I'm impressed with the SP2 knowledge! Close though, that's a VW Karmann Ghia TC, made in Brazil for South American markets. They did some funky stuff out there, looking at trying to bring a few bits over with a guy I know. Just trying to find out what hurdles we might face with shipping, I've read some horror stories about customs stripping cars looking for drugs from South America. Customers don't have to put them back together either eek

I don't know if you can view this FB group? But, if you can, have a look at the green Opel Kadett for 5.5k!

I'd be surprised if this hasn't been posted already, but I must admit if I had the cash I would be all over it like ants on jam.
