Well, I'd guess it might fail on a brake light being out for a start...

Really in love with that!

Is it bad that I don't trust that? It just looks far too clean and good, even at the price. Maybe it's had a full restoration but I'd need to see proof first.

Wow. Did you go to the expense of changing the colour yourself or did a previous owner do this? Looks like an extensive (expensive) job!

I bought it as one of a pair of unfinished projects from a friend - both cars had running issues (both traced to faulty OVP relays), the C124 was sold on almost immediately as it was the S124 I wanted. It sat in storage awaiting some minor repairs for MoT (track rod ends, a couple of bushes etc) but due to a lack of time I eventually drove it down to a local garage for them to sort. Collected it freshly MoT'd in February, have used it whenever I've been home from work, but a surprise bill has forced my hand in terms of having to sell it.

For £500, I bet that's great fun. Fond memories of those!

Though I bet the cambelt hasn't been done for years, so you'd be taking a risk it would go at any time...
