I know you love these Loon, and I can see why, but aren't they pretty hateful to drive in this day and age?

I love them to bits personally. Yes they are noisy, bouncy and not particularly quick but if you 'get them' they are an absolute hoot. It's a bit like when I had my Caterhams......people either got them or didn't really. Minis can be very Marmite though I admit that. I just find them oh so charming and very very appealing but I can certainly see why others wouldn't.

That makes a lot of sense. Sadly, I don't think it'll find favour Chez de Gaulle, and I need to sell either the SL or the 124 cabrio.

On the plus side, I'm dropping hints about a Jaguar XJS that may just follow once we've moved house. Or maybe not!

Quite the opposite. They're fking brilliant fun. I'm definitely too large for them, but I'll never pass up the opportunity to wedge myself behind the wheel when given the chance.

From little to large.

Cheap, wrong engine, but the fact that he's selling to fund a hair salon tickles me.

He's also apparently funding a 'hair saloon' - sounds a good place for a haircut to me!

I'll PM you later.

I don't like Mini's as such, but years ago when I started out in car sales I sold Rovers and had Mini's as demos. And they're brilliant fun, and absoloute hoot to drive driving

Except on long journeys. I used to blag Rover 75's for that laugh

It does look to be in good condition on the photos - except for the bumper. Odd that he doesn't get a new top chrome and side pieces and fit them. Maybe they are expensive?

Equally odd, is the photo of the wheel - a 15" lattice alloy, whereas the car sits on 16" Fondmetals on the other photos.

I'm sure this won't garner much appreciation here but I think it is rather charming;

20,000 miles and 1 owner from new

I can definitely see the appeal of the Clubman. It looks fantastic!

The shut lines are a concern on the boot and bonnet. Fingers crossed I may be having a man go and look at this for me biggrin

Is it complicated exporting a classic car from Brazil?

Awesome. Saw a lovely Type 3 Fastback doing the weekly shop last night, Green and healthily slammed over gas-burners. lick
