Bit of a rolling resto, but £3495.

Fabulous little cars, and IMO criminally underrated given the rising values of other, less worthy machines. On the right bit of road, not a lot will live with one. Mother had a nearly new one when I was a teenager, which I used to borrow. Quick little thing too, but it was all about the handling, which was a delight.
I don't think she ever did find out.
FWIW I bought my current car from these guys and got a really good service. Sound couple of chaps and very forthcoming, I'd be happy to buy even an old Lotus from them. Sorely tempted actually.http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1990-Lotus-Elan-M100-tur...

I had a proper itchy bidding finger on this, but in th end I decided t would've given me a bit of a cash flow headache. Shame.

I checked. Even though it's a 'mid size' car it's as long as a LWB S class, with a wheelbase an inch longer than a C class!Edited by irocfan on Wednesday 29th April 15:05
Also I did look at 126s when I was looking for a first car, about the cheapest thing I could insure when I was 17. I could also afford to fuel the fiat as well.

THAT WAS MY BEST MATE'S CARHe restored it himself (with help from a mechanic father) then sold it on at the end of last year, the modifications weren't his though
It was an excellent car, bags of fun
However, he's failed to mention it's a Cat C
