I don't know how it can be a 35 yo car. It's not that I don't like old cars, but I can remember them coming out, and I'm only 21 .Amused2death said:
Saw this on another thread and thought it worthy of here

Those wheels suit it really well. It's just a shame it won't go as fast as it looks like it should. Has anyone got a spare Rover Vitesse engine?http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1968-MORRIS-MINOR-1098cc...
2000 mile Sierra?

Fiat twin cam used to be the hot ticket for a fruity Minor. The Beardmore brothers have made some epic ones over the years

I love this. Would be surprised if it stays in budget though!

These have never really been on my radar, but starting to appeal. This one looks tidy.

Is that not just the starting price and then people begin bidding? I don't recall seeing this R129 posted; http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/2015...
Looks very nice in the pictures, 24 years young and £3700 from a stereotypical small time car dealer, what could possibly go wrong?!
Since a friend bought one recently for less than half this one (deal of the century!), I keep looking at them. I've even got over the fact how I felt like like a cock driving it with the roof down in traffic. The roof seems to look a bit tragic when it's up on them though! I can't see them getting much cheaper though.

It has some nice mods and fixes though.Slightly over budget, but almost certainly haggle-able. 20 year ownership.

Looks like an interesting Citroen in the background too.
