That's been for sale for ages. CAT C too I'm sure. Naughty they don't mention that in the advert!

EDIT: does look nice for the money though!

EDIT2: CAT D according to the Auto Trader ad

That dealer doesn`t exactly receive glowing recommendations, I would avoid, not as if the car is really cheap anyway, cat c and a guarantee
that the belts need done, if you were planning on keeping it for any length of time.

This thread is very dangerous. yes
Very. I just tell myself that I'm browsing for the thread and then bad things happen.

Oops.
We've all been tempted, but has anyone done the deed?
Did you, W00DY? wink Spill the beans if so!

I just bought an Alfa 147 GTA comfortably inside thread budget, but I didn't link it here in case one of you sneaky bds beat me to it. Does that count or does it make me a bad man not a team player? biggrin
Nope. The seller is an idiot.

Shame, because it would've been awesome as an Alpine bike/ski transporter.

Details/pics of the 147 are necessary. Love them!

See if you can get the 306 GTI-6 engine at the same time in case that one goes pop.

I'm a bad influence aren't I? biggrin
Looks like it sold whilst I dithered.

frown
Looks like it would've been well-used body wise, but the mileage wouldn't have worried me.

My mechanic was showing me his new 1.6 GTI earlier. Looked fab in white.

Hi guys, been a long term lurker on this thread.

I was wondering what your opinions of this are?

The mileage puts me off on a old French car that is all But it is cheaper than other 1.9 gtis.
I nearly bought that car a couple of years ago it had just had some bodywork done but was still in bits.

Seller then seemed pretty honest and it looked a decent buy but circumstances stopped me going and getting it( sure it was in N.Wales)

Maybe not old enough and maybe not classic enough but this tickled my fancy.

the auto box is probably the only reason it hasn't been ruined, I pass one on the way to work and its slowly and sadly getting worse as bits get badly added frown

That is stunning. I do particularly like 80's & 90's jap stuff though.

This is close to me, I'd be happy to go and see it if anyone wants an objective view.

Seeing as we're on page 155, any Alfa 155 V6 about? Not that I can justify one...

Or an rhd converted q4...

http://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C598089#

How do lots of rhd cars seem to end up in Holland? Any issues with the "export certificate"?

Maybe the previous owner(s) drove over there then got so baked they couldn't remember where they left the car so got the boat back. laugh

Oh my cloud9

I've all but agreed a deal on a car in Brazil, but this is making me have second thoughts!

yes If ever there was a car that I reckon I could hold onto for a while it'd be that. Properly lovely.

In other news, since missing out on the truck, I've rather rashly decide to take a punt on a budget motor. Collection Saturday.
