Yes I think the thread definition was older than 10 years and/or interesting. Shame it's an auto but then maybe that is how it's survived this long without being barried.
Think all the V6s were auto? IIRC?

Look at this stunning '80s Celica Supra! The best I've ever seen, usually they are full of rust. I'm sure the price could be talked down to £4-something...

Oh my days! I love that so much, in manual too! If only I had more space... oh and the money tongue out
That is very nice!

How much power does the 2.8 make?

The 5M-GE makes 145 to 175 hp according to wikipedia. These cars easily fit the 230HP 7M-GTE out of the mk3 Supra, or with a bit more effort, the 2JZ, or even the 1UZ v8...

That's lovely. Price seems fair enough given the condition.

Hmmm. Fails my first rule of car buying: never buy a used car from Croydon, Keighley, Chesham or Luton.

Mine is don't buy a car from anywhere beginning with B:and north of the watford gap: Barnsley, Birmingham, Bradford, Burnley... the list goes on.

that does look good - running 14's as well... these days that'd be laughed out of the show-room, suspect the ride comfort to be quite a revalation!

At least buying a ste Saab from Barnsley train station has set the bar pretty low!

Crap ad and the first photo appears to be very flattering, but E21s are very cool.

I noobtuned it and the turbo went pop. It'd clearly had a hard life previously and it definitely felt like it was overboosting.

Now on eBay as spares/repairs. This is a warning not an advertisement.

Indeed, so hopefully it'll fetch some money.

It was a cheap car and sometimes you just hVe to cut your losses rather than throw good money after bad.

I could ask why you noobtuned a car that you thought was overboosting and had had a hard life biggrin
