Maybe it is correct, however, in 1996/7 Volvo had very much forgotten that they made the 940. A bit of a shame as they were a super old bus
To be honest dates of car manufacture aren't something I've been totally aware of, yeah at the end of run it wouldn't make sense to have more press cars. Does anything Volvo since the 940/960 match or surpass the thing for being able to fit ridiculous cargo? Does the V70 stack up?
Unsure, though I remember that, while smaller, the 850 of the time had a better load area entry to it. The 940 was much cheaper and went back to the 60s tech wise. I'd imagine the bigger, modern day V70 matches it load wise.

I'd really love an old V90. My daughter is born in a few months and I was picked up in a Volvo 144. Be nice to take my daughter home in a V90, the final evolution of that design
Still on the lookout for a decent 940/960/V90 at a sensible price.
I had a few 940 estates over the last few years but replaced the last with a Jaguar X type estate - what a mistake, it is fast, stylish but no load carrier like the old RWD Volvos.
Currently considering a P1 V70 too but not a FWD guy.

Quirky rotary beastie. What could possibly go wrong?

I love the look of the Cosmo. To this day, I think, still the most expensive car ever sold by Mazda.

Now that must be rare, I didn't even know they existed. 300hp and 403Nm according to Wikipedia, a fair bit for 1990.

Well how did it go?!
Right, got it today - No pics as I had to go straight to work and it was dark when I finished

I've only driven about 10 miles in it so far, but seems great, gloriously comfortable and incredibly smooth
Huge long shot as I can see from your profile you're based in Torbay but per chance were you driving through Knowle, Bristol about 5:40pm yesterday?

A Honda legend drove past me and I had to double take as I've never seen one on the road before!

This popped up while looking for something else, not sure about wheels and rear spoiler:

It's 1980 V8 Merc. SLC.
