It looks wrong, the rear Sacco panel under the back bumper is so dark it's almost invisible but could just be that photo. Also dark Grey lower panels with red uppers looks awkward especially with the contrasting light tan interior.

ETA- you could make a movie tribute car out of it though

Z31s are the black sheep of the Z car lineage, but this one looks sweet.

I thought that was real for a minute....paperbag

Better than doing it on a Cortina or Capri.

I was at Uni with a guy from Sarfend who had that stripe on a red Marina coupe. It also had the smallest steering wheel I've ever seen other than on a go-cart, can't have been more than 8" dia.

Height of Chic in 80's Essex yikes

Steering wheels made no difference in a Marina anyway, if IT wished to turn you had no control of it anyway.
The ONLY thing those cars were good for was adding disk brakes and servo to your Austin A60 Cambridge or Morris Minor Traveler
(oops, just dated myself)

Heh, would not recommend this car, just posting for nostalgia.

My friends dad had a new one when we were at school. Memories of being blown about no end. Horrible. But cool at the same time.

Shame to lose the plate, but a velvet interior is a rare thing to find in a car.

It can't be long before these start to seriously increase in value, they already have a cult following.

On the subject of inappropriate Starsky and Hutch tributes I did the White arrow tread my on my red mk3 Prelude as a lad.
I thought it looked pretty good and certainly got some funny looks, especially as I had a magnetic blue light and police siren too!

A bit over budget and it looks like a nice unmolested one.
