So I've got someone that can look at this for me, yet the seller can't be bothered to send the photos of the damage before it was repaired, nor return any of my calls/texts. I bet he complains to his mates when the car is still for sale in a months time too banghead
He'll probably call you a time waster too.

And, meeee-oww for the green 205. I love the front-on picture, it looks like it's on stilts compared to modern ground hogs.

It does look OK from a distance. Sadly if you read the advert it seems that it's rusty and the engine is knackered.

What are these early Legacies like? I like the anonymous looks, and they must have a fair turn of speed. Any big problems?

Not sure if this is the correct thread or if it should be in Bargain Basement, but i'm quite tempted by this escort GTI estate

This on the other hand is definitely in the wrong thread, but I thought it might keep some amused.

Looks like an ideal car for someone who is after a cheap runaround over winter

Big and wobbly, dad had one for a while, it liked a petrol with an oil chaser and he got rid very quickly

It also looks an ideal candidate for a thread 'Top 10 Worst Ever Uses of the GTI Badge'.

I had a 4cam Turbo saloon for a short time. Very good car.

Heavier, a bit slower and not as sharp as the Impreza's I had grow up with, but the rally car warble and the rain/shine ability to cover ground very quickly whilst fully loaded still appeals.

Most estates ended their days as chase cars for competitors in rallying, mainly for the abilities listed above. A rare sight now.

That red mk1 golf git is a beauty keep safe and dry for a year or two and it should be Close to £10k not £5k.

Here's something we didn't get in the UK a lovely mk2 Scirocco GTi 16v, this one is a lhd looks to be a fully restored one owner car for under £5k has to be worth that for rarity if it's been done nicely.
