Big and wobbly, dad had one for a while, it liked a petrol with an oil chaser and he got rid very quickly
I owned a Legacy 4Cam Turbo for 6 years, mine was totally standard and was certainly not big and wobbly. It handled superbly with good ride quality and excellent suspension travel. Infact when Imprezza's first came on the seen it was generally accepted that Legacy Turbo's were every bit as capable.

only just looked at the escort estate now from home, it actually looks like a nice little car, despite being, you know, a mk vi escort estate...

399 or best offer?

Look at those seats! Don't tell me you can't appreciate a comfy chair?

Swedes still find a 240 appealing.

So I've got someone that can look at this for me, yet the seller can't be bothered to send the photos of the damage before it was repaired, nor return any of my calls/texts. I bet he complains to his mates when the car is still for sale in a months time too banghead
Avoid then!

Im guessing he would rather sell to someone who doesnt ask prudent questions!
He's taken a deposit on it, shame but probably for the best!

Fair to say its only really the UK that has such ridiculously low 2nd hand car prices.

Even just over the water in Ireland or Netherlands, its a totally different story.
Agree with this. You drive around eastern Europe and it's full of UK registered cars driven by locals. Surprised we have any cars left in Britain.
One of them is my old R reg Passat, sold to a Lithuanian.

That's an impressive array of warning lights available, would hope they all extinguish upon starting up! Bit tenuous referring to the plate as "(Hierarchy)" smile

Yes. do your research - gearboxes eat themselves - I sold mine with 132K having gone through 2 gearboxes.
Interestingly I don't remember an AT temp warning lamp on mine (this must be one of the very late ones - most of them had black roof regardless of car colour).

If you buy it, I've a pair of balljoints in a drawer somewhere.
