As a rather offbeat choice does anyone fancy a reasonably-sized Yank?

It's a 1988 Plymouth Reliant and it's up for €3,750 in Portugal.

Just imagine driving back to Blighty in all that velour goodness.

These kinds of cars should never be cool. It's a fking travesty on wheels. smile

LHD high performance car on UK roads? Sight down the inside of the lorry, then go for it! I used to do this when I had a Matra Murena. Undoubtedly, however, having LHD reduces the amount of overtaking that you do, as you give some opportunities the benefit of the doubt and do not take them; but LHD is handy for falling out of the car directly into the gutter when drunk. So, WIN.

It wasn't a dig. I wasn't sure it was a repeat and that was your point. I had cake with my brew.

I noticed that delectable black 164 Cloverleaf, even if the advert didn't say whether it was on standard electronic shocks or they'd been replaced with standard shocks, has been relisted for £6,000 so 20% over budget.

6K a tad high for that car? I am not sure. Me, I lerves Alfas, me, but isn't that a bit optimistic?

I was quite keen on that white 12V one in this thread in the spring. It's been broken after the buyer got it home to learn it had big end bearing failure. That was up for £1750 IIRC.

£6K a bit much for a 164? Is a Cloverleaf comparable with a nice E34 535i, 540i or M5?

£6K looks more palatable if you price it between a nice 540i or M5 E34?

There was quite a smart black one somewhere near the start of this thread that was on eBay. I missed out on it by about £100, so I think it went for £2650? He turned down a cash offer of £3k for it too.

Mine was mint, 85k on the clock and a full Alfa history. It was flipping gorgeous, only one of two cars I regret selling rolleyes
