That looks to be in amazing condition. Last time I was in one of those was a friend's car at Uni, over 20 years ago now, and the wheel arches on that one were 1% metal, 1%paint, 18% rust and 80% gaffa tape.... the rest wasn't much better! But it didn't 'arf go well

Superb car in its day, I had one too but it had to go as there was more rust than car in the end. Didn't like spirited driving either, well it did, great roarty engine, but you couldn't use the brakes too much as the inboard front discs overheated fairly quickly

Love it. And the later one with hatchback. Perfect hot hatch.
Pretty sure on a forum there will be a ventilated disc upgrade.

That is an advert very light on detail though.... makes me wonder what the seller doesn't want commit to writing!

If it does not say GOOD, it is often rotten in the chassis = body off (not to hard)

Great little cars - I had a moment in mine when I hit black ice on a country road and it went into a high speed weave covering both sides of the road for quite some way - it wasn't a car I wished to crash in and thankfully I didn't.

I'd buy that if it was closer.

Someone was obvioulsy closer as it has sold already!

I'm oot.

Toyota Corolla GTI had a few of these, brilliant car IMO
This one needs some attention on the body (like they all did) but completely standard, one previous owner and 60,000 miles got to be worth saving

I had the misfortune to own one of these in the early 90's, it was an '87 60s just like this except it was white. Awful, hateful hideous car
