What's the catch?I remember a few years ago there was an advert on eBay for a mk2 Golf GTI, oak green and perfect spec with very low miles. The owner had died and the old dear couldn't bring herself to sell it but eventually put it up for sale for something silly like £1000 as it's just an old Golf. Luckily some kind people sent her messages telling her it was worth much more but I don't know what she eventually sold it for.

My mate rang earlier basically told him it was sold before he could utter a word. somebody got a bargain.0a said:
I prefer the white BX estate further up the page, but I can see the appeal to patriotic old folk of an end of production run Montego in a suitably British colour. gforceg said:
Not sure about the use of the phrase "barn find" in that advert (has to be the most common classic car spam phrase, along with "future classic" or "getting rare now"). But £800 sounds like good value for a rare-ish modern car with reasonable miles and only 1 family owner. Hi said:

I tried to buy this but it sold today to someone else. I do have a 304s but it needs full restoration so it would have been nice to have one ready to use for this summer.cat220 said:
