I like that - the chassis is just soooo good in the 309, that would be a brilliant, understated back road bit of fun. Shame it looks so sh!te. Nice looking garage of old 80s/90s things too - I see Cavalier, 106 and 405.

That looks like a great buy given the miles

They were a great handling car for sure.

Performance Car used a GTi for their annual tyre test back in the early 90s

That 240 has been sold. I was about to e-mail the owner to ask if it had the optional aircon.

And at the other end of the spectrum is this chancer. Buy It Now at £10k!!

77,000 mile 960 Estate. £2k

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Volvo-960-estate-beautif...

or a 150,000 mile LWB S90 for £2.5k - likely to have a good luxury level inside.

Not sure why I'm obsessed with old Volvos at the moment...

I purchased this Volvo from the only owners son

Err? Would he not then be the second registered owner as he is now selling it?

ad says said:
Some carictoristic wear light wear makes on the body, small dent near side rear lower wheel arch, light scratch on both offside doors, dome light touching up on the bonnet and boon lid.
I have chosen to leave the few blemishes this old girl has as I feel they tell a story of its journey so far.
Ignoring the horrific spelling / sentence construction, is that last part a genuine attempt to spin scratches, dents, and blemishes being left as in place as a positive?! If so, I definitely missed a trick with a couple of my cars that I've sold! yikes

If he'd been more literate he could have used the word "patina" and made it more romantic.

As for ownership, it could be that the owner died and the son is selling the car.

Patina certainly sounds a bit better... hehe

The wording says he purchased it from the owners' son, which to me would make the guy selling it the second owner. I'm also going to stick my neck out and bet he didn't purchase it from the guy's son for anywhere close to £10k...

Ah, fair enough. Can't see the advert as it's blocked at worked.

Överladdad!!! That word sounds great! Google translation is supercharged. Video added to favourites.

If I ever get round to supercharging the s2000 I will be using this word, most definitely.

That made me think of this

Wasn't sure I'd find one for sale. My mate had one when I was a student.

Really liking that Renault!! Some very interesting styling, just a shame it isn't a better colour combo.

Sure this has been put up as has been for sale twice now, but liking this Triumph Herald, subtle mods, 1500 engine and a little hot rod about it, looks a good buy for circa 4k to me.
