Always liked those. £1200 seems reasonable given the mad prices for many 'classics' these days.

Nah, I've seen many good ones sub-£1000

(Including the one on my drive)

This seems like a funky little thing for just over £2k. New paint, low miles and a very 80s look. http://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C773271

That looks fantastic, particularly if it isn't rusty.

Between here and the barge thread there are some great cars lately.
A lot at reasonable money as well.
If only I had the space and the spare cash.

yes

Colour is a bit sudden, but I like it. The coupes are cheaper, but there aren't many decent XK8 cabrios under five grand - that looks like great value.

It's leggy (176k miles) but nothing untoward in the recent MOT history.

I love those so much. Convert it to a manual mated to a fruity VTEC and it'd be even better.

One for SOTW? Clearly a well loved Probe.

smile I like the howling demon line.

I wonder if the guy who found the 1-series too cramped saw this bit

There is a small piece of carpet glued to the inside of the door because I'm 6'5'' and my knee rests on the carpet for comfort. If you are tall too, then you will appreciate having something akin to a sports car that you can actually fit into. Otherwise you will appreciate how spacious she is.

I love this user review attached to the ad:

"I thought it was cool at the time - but in reality it's a st car."

What a coincidence, I saw that very car the other day driving through Muirhead in Glasgow. It looked very nice. The colour really stood out.

I don't think this has been on already. 1968 Renault R10 £3250 looks in really good condition

They've already had a Probe as the SOTW.

Everyone made all the Gareth Cheeseman and anal probe jokes five years ago.
