Had a few Soarer's my favorites are the last of the 3L that came black on black. The UZZ32 with the Active suspension (very rare) are also the 2nd least produced Toyota of all time after the 2000gt, there is mileage in finding a nice one to keep.
I've been tempted by an active but the mpg is appalling, I have zero interest in a 3 litre or even the 2.5VTi Turbo which is the best engine in real terms - 1UZ V8 is the only option.

I've seen 3 sell on ebay - none went for over £2500 all with MOT.

Smithy of Soarer Sanctuary is supposed to be able to fix them but he is at best, an acquired taste.

Cheaper than a good V6 Activa then....strange, but hey, it is not a "Super Car" or German smile

Something for the individualists amongst us.

A simply excellent dog / tip run car any PHer would be proud to have on the fleet.

Annoyed I just missed this:

Sold within 24 hours, no doubt soon be for sale at twice the price.

frown

I really want a nice V8 soarer and NOT a green one which means I've just eliminated 99% of Soarers.
How much was it up for if you don't mind me asking?

Those concave Lexus GS Sport alloys are worth a small fortune alone

Supposed to being the operative word - and agree with the other poster with the acquired taste being a understatement.

The guys on LW have exposed him for what he truly is.

Interesting read if you have the time, just hope it saves someone else from falling foul to his antics.

£2000 which with the wheels, colour and being a facelift was very cheap IMO.

I bought a stripped out one for £500 many years ago (for the engine) but I don't think decent ones with MOT have ever been much below £1k - similar cars now are closer to £1800.

... restricting the speed to around 10mph. I think this is gearbox-related

And only the 1400... so... about 10p?

Panel fit round the rear of that Scimitar is interesting and what's going on with the gear stick - is it meant to be canted forwards like that?

I got an insurance quote not long ago for a Reliant Rialto.

I could insure a Mercedes S600 for less laugh

Still worth a fair bit, unless that's overpriced. As three wheelers go though, that looks minging with those Corsa lights. hehe

Looking at the other things they have for sale I'd happily pay money to visit them for the day! That's the kind of eccentric place I'd love to own.

Yes, all the Ford engined ones are like that. Panel fit is about normal too!

Pretty sure this one has changed hands recently, I'm sure I saw it for sale a few months ago on the Scimitar forum. That doesn't bode well...
