I can't imagine this being for sale long. If it was vaguely close to me I think I'd probably buy it and move it on the spring and make a few quid out of it

Thanks but he wants £3k for it which is too much IMO.

Fair enough. I think good clean Soarers are getting rare. That facelift one you saw going cheap was definitely an anomaly at £2k. The wheels and facelift bumpers/sideskirts would have been nearly worth the asking!

But I'll freely admit I have a vested interest in talking up prices as the owner of a VVTI turbo Soarer biggrin

I was just thinking exactly that. I suppose it could just be that those are the best photos the owner has, and it's still in the same condition. That said, I have a weakness for giving people the benefit of the doubt!

Not sure if I'm honest. I might have a friend that lives that way and I may have spoken to him about looking at the car and I may have left a voicemail for the owner.

I have tried a few times and can't get an answer on the phone. I would of gone straight away with the truck to get it!

House is currently surrounded by Fordistas carrying pitchforks and torches demanding purchase

Another e23 with leather! Strange that they all come out at once. I love the offensiveness of the leather colour and wood. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1985-BMW-E23-735i-SE-Aut...

I wonder what it will end at?

I agree that they are cheap for what they are but I'd rather buy one cheaper and do some work rather than from a "garage" who obviously charge for getting it ready for sale.

CLK are equally undervalued - I nearly bought a V8 with LPG for £3500 but I have too many toys, I've sold two in the last week so now I deserve to buy at least one more.

I have mentioned it on the bargains thread but I thought I'd post it here too, I stumbled onto a good Facebook group
