Spotted this 306 Cabrio on Gumtree, only £1,500 and 47,000 miles:

This 306 is very local to me so I asked the Mrs if funds might be made available, denied!

Oh dear, is there a remedy, short of a full roll cage and welding up the doors?
Such a pretty design
Honestly my other half wouldn't notice - no need to cage it.....Such a pretty design
My track car before I put a cage in it you could jack it up on one corner and if the door was open you couldn't shut it, if it was shut you couldn't open it
When I fitted a full welded in cage the difference was amazing Mrs BC couldn't notice the difference but if you jacked up one corner the doors opened and shut as if it was sitting in all four wheels.

That's interesting, but quite expensive. This is more everyday, but looks better than a lot of cars for sale for £1k (assuming the MoT's a reasonable length).http://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C325563

Quite a few 1980s and early 1990s cars flexed that badly. Citroen AX - park it with two wheels on the kerb and you can't shut the boot. Or maybe just one wheel. Can't remember how bad it was
