An interesting project for somebody. £3500. Very green.

I love that. Pricey for a car with problems though.
Seems like the going rate for a project. If it's really solid underneath then that's a real boon - I seem to remember them rotting in tricky-to-repair ways.

I'd quite like one, but at £200. That seems like a lot of money for an 800 - it's not like gold 800s are hot property at the moment.

My old man used one of these when I was a kid! He used to set the light going when he set off down the road.

Mine went in several places at once, including (but not limited to) the A pillar and scuttle in a particularly nasty, several layer jigsaw of crumbling doily-like metal.

My first sports car though, so I still look back with fondness and nostalgia (just not enough to buy another).

The mounting for the pop up lights rusted through on mine to the point where only one light would pop up. I ended up with a brick under the second one to hold it up.

A bit cheaper than the sterling, but it's only a 2.0

Usually about £9k on the 'bay.

You need to save up a few grand more and get a V12, though! One on the 'bay for £12k right now.

I like those old XX-model Rover fastbacks. There's a bit of SD1 in the rear three quarter view.

Some vendors think they're "classics" and ask silly money but £695 is a decent price.

Your Volvo. My caravan. Welcome to beige cardigans and a carefree sustainable life that sneers at passing fads and fashion.

Utterly charming - you'd be the darling of the camp-site.
