I don't think that 124 will stay under £5k will it? Or even close.
A couple of Tasmins. I quite like them in a way.

Christ, that Mustang is awful. I'm sure it makes a lovely noise and may well be great, cheap, fun, but it looks horrendous! 90's styling at its lowest ebb.
Gear stick from a van? Check!
Cheap, plastic-y interior with lots of pointless swoopy curves? Yes!
Larger overhangs than a US aircraft carrier? Aye, Captain!
Bits of tat added on so that you know it's a sports car? Speed holes in the bonnet and side and a boot spoiler, and side skirts, and chrome wheels - you're good to go.
Aerial from the back of an old Jag? Yes, but on the front!

Like the coupe, but not keen on the 'vert which seems to have a case of exhaustile dysfunction.

And I agree that the 'stang is grim, the worst of the 90s in one car. I like it for that though.

This looks very clean. I wonder what the mileage is. Back in the day, I was always pushing to afford the big bumper ones in preference to small bumper, but now the small bumper ones look quite good!E24man said:
I'm enjoying this thread but I can sense the huge inherent danger in having a thread full of eclectic, affordable, desirable and AVAILABLE cars.
Exactly, thinking how much is my ISA currently returning, might as well 'invest' in a 'classic'...least that's what I'm saying to my wife! What a lovely looking old thing. 59k miles http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Jaguar-XJ6-Classic-serie...
Unusual to see cloth in an XJ.

What a refreshingly grim spec - 1.8 litre engine, windy windows http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1984-Audi-100-Avant-CC-c...
Good build quality though.

Been for sale for a while now that one. I know that 'cos it's in my old manor...that's where I grew up!If he finished it properly he might get a sale but things like not getting the seats sorted plus little things like not replacing the missing headlamp wiper and then photographing it in various stty locations do it no favours.

When you get bored with this, stick it on a plinth outside Tesco and charge 50p a ride.

Bravo HGT; Another car that I sold brand new. I used to sell Cloverleafs and Bravo HGT's new and they were a great comparison. Happy days of hooning around in both and that 5cyl in the Bravo was a cracker.
Never thought I could get one for the price of a weekend away all these years later!
