Genuinely interested to know if you guys preferred my car on silver or matte black alloys?

Sprayed them myself and only cost £40 all in

I much prefer the first picture, with everything OEM.

I know taste is an individual thing, and I know that it's your car and you can do with it as you wish, however, whilst (if I was in the market for one) I'd buy the car from the first picture, I wouldn't buy the car in the second.

I agree. Sorry DannyScene, but it looks a bit seedy now.

I wouldn't give it a second look if I was on the look out for one. It looks great in the first picture though.

The beauty of it is the black is plasti dip, when I want to remove it I'll peel it of like a vinyl and the silver will be as it was before anything was sprayed

The car a lot cleaner in the first pic as well which may help

Not that it matters to anyone here but I think they look totally gash on almost every car including everything posted on this thread so far.

I just don't get how anyone thinks it looks good, but I could say the same thing about Kerry Katona.

You can't really see them, hard to pass judgement.

Gone from being a very tidy looking car, to one you'd expect to find in a supermarket carpark 'cruise'

Mine came with black wheels from the factory, think silver would probably be a bit better though!

You'll love it when I've painted it army green and stuck black arch extensions, spacers, lowering springs and other body mods on biggrin haha

I don't think it would work with the traditional blue with white stripes, or if the wheels were entirely black but I'm fairly pleased with this

But in this example the wheels compliment the scheme with the polished rims, IMO the only combo that works really well. V nice car and tastefully presented

One of the few exceptions to (my) rule of not really being a fan of black wheels (albeit with a sliver of silver).
Can't really see this working with silver.

I think that it would look better with the front face of the spokes in silver which is what the light appears to do with the rear wheel.

I always liked the idea of darker wheels, when I purchased this, the previous owner owner had them refurbished, I never really liked the look though.

I ended up getting them put back to the original silver -

So, to recap, some cars look better, some look worse, some you can't see where the wheels end, some can't see where the tyre begins, some colour cars look better on black rims than others and some folk like them and some folk (are wrong) and don't. smile

Happy Christmas!
