It's worth a try, and you never know.

As Matt has said, most policies require you to be 25 before they let you drive other cars 3rd party. It'll state if you have this in your policy documents
Not even if he's in the passenger seat?

Are you completely incapable of using a search engine?

Also do you know anything about me driving other cars, for example my dad has a 320Ci BMW Petrol, being that I am fully
Compensated, and he is fully com, am I able to drive his bmw with him in the passenger seat?
I know BMW's are not the last word in reliability, but why would you get compensated to drive one? They're not that bad are they? I have to pay to drive my Honda

No, that was for learner drivers who either had their own insurance on a car or who were insured as a named driver on someone else's policy

Him being in the passenger seat has absolutely no bearing on whether or not you'd be insured to drive his car. As mentioned above, that's only relevant to learner drivers.

Nope. Not unless you're named on his insurance.

Chocolate gearbox, tiny boot, great fun to drive. I had a modified Cooper S, was brilliant when out for some fun, not so much when living with it day to day I found.

OP what about an Ibiza Sport or a Civic Sport? Maybe a C2 VTS? Mk1 1.6 Focus isn't a bad steer either IMO.

As an aside, I can't believe what insurance costs are like for new drivers now! When I started driving 7 years ago, I remember paying just over £700 FC in my own name on a Saxo VTR!

The Renault 5 Monaco is only £750...

I love the concept of it! A dull average hatchback gets fitted with extremely luxurious equipment, and it doesn't look much different on the outside.

I have a 1.2 corsa c energy at the moment, I just wish they had a 1.8 fiesta zetec s, I have had a decent quote for a 1.8 tdci focus but not too sure about that!
That's weird, I also have a 1.2 Corsa C Energy! Just got an amazing quote on a Fiesta ST Mk6; £70 a month on modified car insurance. Might be worth a look into.

I went for a 1.6 megane Mk2 at 18, a much nicer car in the class above - nothing went wrong in the 3 years I had it (apart from headlight contacts going a littleeeee bit rusty but that was only £30 for the local garage to fit a new part in place)

Its funny you mention this because I just purchased a Pug 308 for the Mrs and I felt a bit old doing 80 odd sitting at just under 4k revs.

I am so used to larger engines it felt odd to me.

But you know what! It was more fun to drive than any of the cars I had!

I was nipping around everywhere. it was great!
