That's weird, I also have a 1.2 Corsa C Energy! Just got an amazing quote on a Fiesta ST Mk6; £70 a month on modified car insurance. Might be worth a look into.
how many years no claims? also are you 19?

BMW 328i - cost me £467 to insure at 21, I'm sure at 18 I was getting quotes at about 1200. One of the best performance/insurance cars for young drivers.

I was like you when I was that age - wanting a new car every year. The sound advice is to keep what you already have and save your money, but if you're hell bent on wasting money like I did then just get the Fiesta. I've been trying to think of what else I'd want in your situation and I think the Fiesta will be fine for a year.
I don't envy you paying the premiums for these sort of cars though, I paid £1450 for a 370bhp Escort Cossie parked on the street in East London when I was 21!
yeah, the fiesta will be fine for one year, i know it isn't anything special, but i think the fiesta for one year is more preferable to me than keeping my corsa for another year..

You're clearly doing something wrong. I was getting high quotes, struggling to find a quote on a 1.8 Corsa for under £200. Now I've played around, found out what makes it cheaper for me and now I'm debating on whether to buy a Ford Fiesta ST Mk6 for £79 a month or a Ford Focus ST-2 facelift for £180 a month.

Have a serious play around with different sites, both modified and standard. Play around with the details - keeping it within reason - and you'll probably find a massive drop in price like I did.
i don't get what I am doing wrong with my quotes, all of what I am doing should make it be almost as low as it could be
