Ha! So many people said it was definitely FWD by looking at the video they released a week or so ago hehe

So those drifts it was pulling were proper drifts. Awesome!

AWD excellent, but if the pics are true I do not like the distilled looks.

Ford have definitely gone for the "World Car" theme here, playing it safe. Shame.

the last RS500 was identical cosmetically apart from the wrap. Would be awesome if they did it like the Megane Trophy R, and stripped out alot of weight

Urgh, why have both Ford and Audi foregone flared front wheel arches this time round?

Hmmm... not enough theatre for me. I know the previous model was OTT but thats exactly what I liked about it. Road tests would have to be epic for me to consider such an understated car.

I dont think Ford can win here, the too lairy/not lairy enough debate will rage on but it is what it is, I dont think there has been a better choice of properly fast cars for a long time, it will be less than 30k as well.

318 bhp, doesn't sound that impressive but the hallowed Golf R has 296, with another 300 cc's worth of scope for further developments.

well done ford smile

styling is a bit in your face for me but each to their own. At least you'd have a sense of occasion in this car smile

anyone know a price yet?

If it's 4wd all the PH knowitalls will have to think of another unified reason to hate it.

That will never do.
It's 5 door - that'll do for the haters.

Glad it's AWD but my god that things is ugly!

It just looks so wrong and after market. I prefer the look of the mk2 all day long!

2016 will have a great selection of fast Fords to choose from, all around the £28k-35k mark. So go for the history, the RWD, and the fantastic engine options in the Mustang or go for the more manageable, UK centric Focus.

I like it, fair play for developing the 4WD too (If this is official). I still think they could of made it look a bit more special. Wider arches and wider rear quarters properly done looks good with less of the 'bolt on bits'. Although the wider body panels may induce bigger production costs thus not keeping it under 30k (again if this is the official cost).

Isn't that exactly what everyone said when the Mk2 was announced?
