I picked up my current car three months ago, it's ten years old.

The wife changes her car every ten years.

Only one of the five sentences above tells you how old a car is.
Fair point.

I forgot to say they are all brand new when I get them.

Therefore my current one is 3 months old although technically it was built in July so it is really 5 months old.

Got the wife's 5 months ago. Not sure when it was built, think it was June.

Mine is 11 years old and on 50k miles.

My MGB was my daily driver for a while and at the time was about 30 years old; I have no idea how many times its been around the clock.

Surprised at the poll results so far: why are all the stereotypical PH company directors driving 10-20y.o. cars?

Surprised at the results, thought there would be newer cars to be honest especially since out of the road it is full of them.

Mine's 20 months old and has covered 12.5k. But I expect to run it until it will run no more; I buy as ex demo and keep.

Maybe they are all too busy to vote wink

I posted this poll out of curiosity, because I and most of my petrolhead mates drive (and tinker with) older cars, so I wondered about the PH members.

In my experience it is generally those who regard cars a just a means of transport who change them frequently, because having a new car is more important to them than having one they enjoy driving.
