Thinking about this last night, years ago I always thought that a combination of the Michelotti designed Triumph 2000 MK2

and the power unit from the Jaguar X300 XJR would make a great machine.

My thoughts also run to the Dolomite, I wouldn't do it to s a Sprint as they're far too rare, but take a common or garden Dolomite

Then sprinkle it with some Honda goodness

To make a modern iteration of the Dolomite Sprint.

I like Triumphs, I does.
I like Triumphs too biggrin, I owned a 2000 for 5 years. I'd quite like a BMW M50 engine in a 2000.

My dad had a '73 Triumph 2000, from about 1986 - 2007, sadly t succomed to the tin worm.. Not bad for a £100 trade in car biggrin The M50 would be quite good in a 2000!

M50s do sing, even the B20 (the 2 litre) would be ok in a 2000, still got 150 bhp!

A nice M52 B28, with the M50B25 inlet on it. 220-230bhp, it would go very nicely indeed thumbup
