The 3 grand Mulsanne. Looks pretty decent, don't know what's in the footwell though. Some sort of wine chiller?
Yeah, odd one that. Seller thinks it warrants its own picture anyway whatever it is.

You can't argue with £3k I suppose but if I can be prejudiced for a moment:

Non salubrious location
White lettering on the tyres (circa 1980's Jeep Wrangler)
Halfords mats
Northern Ireland registration

You pays your money...
Indeed only thing I'd say is the halfords mats serve a purpose in protecting the deep pile Bentley mats. I'm doing the same over the winter and protecting my nice mats in the e55. nuts

Smoke silver 300-24. What a lovely family smoker. http://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C580479#

I think that's a little pricey for a car with crinkly wings. The 4-cyl one I posted earlier looks better value than that I reckon.

You're probably right. However my credit card can fix rusty wings (they all need them doing) but it can't fix having the wrong engine laugh

And it comes with the desirable 4th wheel option (sorry R129!)

I know that you, of all people, know this, but obviously better to buy the right car at the right price in the first instance.

Gotta say though, that's the first time I've seen a roof box used as an incentive - you have to admire the gall!

I'm at a decision point with mine - I figure I've spent far too much to start again so will do the gearbox/paint in the coming months. Strangely it looks like the suspension/brakes/fuel lines will have cost more than the paint will.

With hindsight I would have started with a 300-24 saloon with as low a mileage as possible. My car will never be worth a fraction of what I have put into it, but I guess it will do another 200k miles without a significant issue.

Only a 300 but only 79k and only £2,350. http://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C546778#

I'd seen that. Not really feeling the love.

Frilly wings and looking a bit low at the front aside, I do like that. Roof box definitely helps.

I don't know what it is, but I really like Mercedes blue cloth interiors.

The wine chiller suggests it's been used for weddings.

Ouch.

How can you tell the wings are rusty? Looks perfect to my eye.

Sorry... don't deny me valuable merc knowledge as punishment, please! I couldn't resist given the colour / bodytype.

They look okay to me as well, but I assume that's my screen - other 1-5 beardists have declared rust so it must be so.

At least you picked it up. Looks perty though, don't it...?

I sometimes think that some of my posts are on an 'ignore' button for all the response there is. <Feeling sorry for myself>
