Hmm, I have an issue with this. The old 6 is one of my dream cars. I was relying on all of them being rusty or ridiculous money.

This one looks wonderful, with a lovely interior in good condition.

Please can someone buy it?

Jeez, I only sold my E24 in March but that one is giving me urges again! If only I had another garage....

You can't argue with a V8 Caddy at this money.
I beg to differ.

I still really like these and that's a low price

That lovely 635 seems too cheap given the rise in 80's classic BMW values. A great investment (and enjoyable drive) for someone.

Bizarre that someone has fitted the 390mm metric alloys from a late E34.

RHD? were they official conversions? I like that a lot. I had a big boy Caddy DTS in the States a few years ago, my god that was a comfy thing. Seriously couldn't corner for toffee (taking an offramp at 80mph was... interesting) but the size, the comfort, the toys... cloud9

It is lovely.

There would be dilemma with th interior. The trim is gorgeous but unfortunately the front seats are the so called 'comforts'. They are anything but that. Do you put up with them or swap for the infinitely better sport seats?

I suppose if you were feeling flush you could get a set of sports and have them re-trimmed in matching hide to the originals...

Gorgeous though, much want there.

I'm surprised 4Star aren't all over that and slapping a 15k price tag on it after a spit and polish.

They'd have to convince the owner to loan it to them first, and pay for any titillation they decide it needs before advertising.....

Were they not available on an E24? I really like them as a less aggressive and overtly sporting wheel than their imperial counterparts.

Some matching sports seats would be nice as would a tech 1 wheel.

But not matching premium rubber, natch

It's over budget and those wing badges are rather distressing, but what a magnificent thing.

Shame about the wheels and the seats on that e24. As Jobbo says, absolutely bonkers that they've replaced the standard TRXs with... non-standard TRXs. It'd looks ace on a set of e31 style 5s.

It does look to be conspicuously good value. But the wheels and the seats would need to go.

I keep a look out for my old e24 in the classifieds, in the vain hope that it might turn up one day.

No. They're an e34 wheel.

The e28-based e24 came either with the 390mm bottle-tops or the 415mm cross spokes.

My blood runs pure yellow since my heart is rooted deep in Baden-Wurttemberg.

I have regrettably had a couple of flings with E39's which haven't been the highlight of my automotive ownership.

That 635 gives me a strange twingling...like the Bavarian blue blood is about to come rushing back into my veins.
