Every time I see a Cosworth it makes me want to buy another. I've had two Sapphire's but they're silly money now . I'd also want a garage to keep it in and I'd have to sell my M5 (at 15 years old, is too young for this thread! I think).Jonty355 said:
Just simply fantastic. The shape that moulded many Ferrari's!Output Flange said:

Nice, nice, nice, nice. The M5 without the body kit, 286bhp in something that looks like a 518 Dinoboy said:

Been off the road since 2012 and after a long drawn out saga with somebody who was going to restore it, yesterday I had a more uplifting conversation with somebody far more trustworthy who is going to finish the great work he's already done on the bodywork, which means it should be back on the road by end of Spring.
Is that colour Aston Martin silver birch?

That is majestic, I doff my cap to you sir. Perfect accompaniment for the TVR.Rover for wafting, TVR for hooning - same engine different uniform.
A heavy old lump the P5 but it would be quite peppy, no? The only issues maybe exhaust manifolds, sound and originality.

If you wanted to up the performance you'd have to improve the brakes, suspension and transmission to keep it safe and working.
You'd need to do a "Fast n Loud" Gas Monkey Garage on it. I'd love a P5B Coupe sleeper.
ETA: There are a couple about but its usually easy to tell they've been messed with.

My garage queen and occasional track toy. Owned since 2003, but nearly came to an end a few weeks ago:
Sadly my beautiful 996 is no more, though fortunately house and 944 survived unscathed.
Still at least your beautiful house and stunning 944 didn't get damaged!
Thanks. Not sure of the cause, presumably an electrical fault of some kind - blooming unreliable "modern" cars
Happy to say the insurance company(Esure) was very good and a fair settlement was agreed pretty swiftly. Not something I wish to experience again though. Fire extinguishers and fire blankets will shortly be purchased for the garage!
