Stunning. Not much room at the front to change belts!

Lovely car. E28 M5's are just class.

Mine, will be 20 years old as of next week. Owned for nearly 3 years

Every time I see a Cosworth it makes me want to buy another. I've had two Sapphire's but they're silly money now frown. I'd also want a garage to keep it in and I'd have to sell my M5 (at 15 years old, is too young for this thread! I think).

Here's my old banger I bought last year.
Just simply fantastic. The shape that moulded many Ferrari's!

Nice, nice, nice, nice. The M5 without the body kit, 286bhp in something that looks like a 518 hehe

Been off the road since 2012 and after a long drawn out saga with somebody who was going to restore it, yesterday I had a more uplifting conversation with somebody far more trustworthy who is going to finish the great work he's already done on the bodywork, which means it should be back on the road by end of Spring. smile
That looks very nice indeed.

Is that colour Aston Martin silver birch?

Thirty years old next year and I've owned it for twenty of those.

Owned quite a few of these over the years, but this one has been a constant.

Shares the garage with something a bit quicker at the moment (chalk & cheese?)

Owned since Jan 2000 and has had "a bit" of time spent on it. I daren't add up the time or the bills.
That is majestic, I doff my cap to you sir. Perfect accompaniment for the TVR.
Thank you! I consider myself to be merely the custodian until the responsibility passes to someone else.

Rover for wafting, TVR for hooning - same engine different uniform.
cloud9 I know it's sacrilegious, but what would that go like with a TVR RV8 in it I wonder?

A heavy old lump the P5 but it would be quite peppy, no? The only issues maybe exhaust manifolds, sound and originality.

It actually has a 3.9 litre, the block being from a Chimaera. It is "downtuned to about 200HP as BW35 autobox is marginal at that sort of power.

If you wanted to up the performance you'd have to improve the brakes, suspension and transmission to keep it safe and working.

You'd need to do a "Fast n Loud" Gas Monkey Garage on it. I'd love a P5B Coupe sleeper.

ETA: There are a couple about but its usually easy to tell they've been messed with.

My toy is around 23 years old, and I've had it for 14.5 of them (J plated import)
I think they're ageing well (but then I would).

My garage queen and occasional track toy. Owned since 2003, but nearly came to an end a few weeks ago:

Sadly my beautiful 996 is no more, though fortunately house and 944 survived unscathed.

Sorry to see the 996 in that state frown

Still at least your beautiful house and stunning 944 didn't get damaged!

Thanks. Not sure of the cause, presumably an electrical fault of some kind - blooming unreliable "modern" cars smile

Happy to say the insurance company(Esure) was very good and a fair settlement was agreed pretty swiftly. Not something I wish to experience again though. Fire extinguishers and fire blankets will shortly be purchased for the garage!

If we're doing bikes as well, in addition to my car I posted on page 1 I also have this as my dream two wheeler. I bought it new in 1998 and it still has less than 4000 miles on it.
