Large luxo barge for family work, runs to the tip and lugging bikes about. Say with a large v8.

Lightweight amusing open top with handling to die for. Say with refreshed suspension and a shouty exhaust.

Daily - Lexus GS450h - hybrid waft-mobile with lots of gadgets
Toy - Honda S2000 - small, open top, revvy and fun

Either of the cars I find a complete antidote to the other. First time in ages I've gone for more than 6 months without browsing the classifieds looking for inspiration!!
Very similar here

Merc ML diesel waft machine - it's a total mobile lounge comfy, reliable and economical for it' not inconsiderable size - it also tows my boat quite well..

Then an S2000 - for exactly those reasons - and perfect on the little lake district roads up around here.

Can't think of what to replace either with...

It's just me and my boy in the house (he's 4) so I feel my 2 car setup is pretty much ideal.

Citroen C6 and Supercharged MX5.

The MX5 is comfy, capable and capacious enough for cross country cruising (e.g. a blast round France) as well as local hoonage, trackdays and, hopefully, some competitive hillclimbing, but the C6 is a most magnificent motorway mile-muncher

Currently have a Bmw m135i for daily use/ trips, Megane dci for slogging about in and vx220 turbo for a toy.

Money no object it would be 991 Gt3 as a toy and something along the lines of a c63 amg or M5 as a practical petrol guzzling family cruiser smile

My current combo is

Mk5 Golf TDI for the Mrs as the sensible option
Audi TT Roadster for me (just a station car)
AE86 for a toy

Looking to get rid of the lot and switch it up a bit. Seems a bit silly to have the most valuable of the 3 cars sat about in a garage all the time, never getting used.

Mrs wants a small 4x4, Rav 4 or something. I might look to replace the TT and 86 with a Maserati 3200.

Im more than happy with my current line up. A car for every occasion.

Galaxy Tdi - Comfy, economical and huge. Proving ideal as an everyday work horse. All the rear seats fold completely flat so almost doubles up as a van too.

Z4 3.0 - Was my everyday car before the Galaxy showed up. Now used for everything but work related journeys. Adequate performance and driver enjoyment that fills a void left by the Galaxy.

MEV Exocet Turbo - My weekend, fine weather car. Not a single creature comfort and very stripped back raw driving. Makes the Z4 feel like a comfy armchair and for anyone who has driven a Z4 will know how uncomfy they are! 400bhp/ton also makes the Z4 feel like a slouch.

My three car garage is pretty perfect at around £30k:

1-Merc W124 for when I want to carry people and have a "normal car"
2-Elise S1. A stunning driver's car
3-Caterham Superlight. As above.
