That is a bit weird - I live in a semi-rural area and the local LandRover dealer has a terrible reputation. I literally don't know anyone who uses them. And it's a bit odd that my invite to try the DS came from a dealer in the same group, but not the local one.

Are you secretly 300bhp/ton in disguise? I think JLRs point with this car was that it had the flexibility but is substantially shorter than the Q5/X3 etc. It must be a LOT shorter than the cars you've quoted. That's not to say I don't think it's marketing driven tat for idiots, but you're not really comparing like for like.

Your never going to get a car as small as this new discovery sport with a useable 3rd seating row and boot combined.
