It used to be once a month but is now weekly. Still enjoy doing it and the buzz of waiting for the results.
That's an addiction - you need to seek help. They're very good at tempting you back every game with the game credits for being close.
With the credits it usually costs me less than £10 a week for 10 goes. Not too bad.
I'm convinced I'll win one day! :-/

Only just watched one of the judging videos... what a joke. Surely the original image should be used and then the judges spend the 5 minutes choosing the exact centre pixel of the ball?
If I understand it correctly, the judges get to see the image where the ball has been removed & they then place the ball where they think it would be. You then have to guess where the judges thought it was.So you see the same image as the judges basically.
It's far too addictive. You'll use up free credit, but then they'll give you £6 back for being close, so you may as well use it, but oh top that up, and you get 40% discount which seems silly not to use, and oh add on the £1 (actually 60p with the 40% discount) £10k entry because it would suck to win and not get £10k in the boot of the car too, just see what happens until next time...
Oh yes I'm suckered in every week but in truth it doesn't cost that much and it's good fun. Somebody has to win!
The credits and discounts definately tempt me week after week. Hey ho I could be spending my money on worse things!
There's aready been two winners from Pistonheads. Hoping I'll be No.3 !! :-)

Does it say anywhere how many tickets for each car they are actually selling? Is that how it works? or do they just pick on ticket from the hat for the month and that is it? how many tickets do they sell in total then? See what the chances of a win are rather than throwing my money into it for next to no chance of a win.
It's a spot-the-ball so based on your skill in matching the judges position. All independently done with auditors and external judges.
Get close and you get a nice credit back on what you spend.
They obviously sell a lot of entries but at the end of the day it's down to your skill. Not just a draw.

There's seems to be just one winner a week. Not sure what they do if two or more people get it spot on! Pick one I guess! I'll have a look in the T&C's.

What happens if more than one person is equidistant to the judges position?
In the case that more than one person is equally close to the judges position in a competition, the winner will be determined by calculating the next closest entry of the players in question. The person with the closest second ticket is the outright winner. If any player in this scenario has only one ticket, all players that qualify will play in another Spot the Ball competition to determine the outright winner. All other players in this scenario will receive £500 in cash and £500 in Game Credit. Be sure to read the full terms and conditions.
