Here's a dealer with some absurd, eye-watering prices for old E46 BMW 3 series

How about a 2005 E46 coupe for £8995?
Or a 2005 E46 coupe for £8750?
Or a 2004 E46 saloon for £8495!
http://www.odaviscars.com/stockdetails.asp?StockID...

Or a how about a 2004 E46 3.0 Sport estate for a mind blowing £9995?
http://www.odaviscars.com/stockdetails.asp?StockID...

To put that into context I just bought a 2002 E46 3.0 sport estate manual for £1500.
And recently sold an E91 2006 330 manual touring for £5.5k.

I dont know whats more mental the dealer putting them up for such an inflated price or anyone daft enough to buy one at these prices.
I sort of can justify the second one. It appears to have every option avaliable, has very low miles and looks new.

I'm trying to find the same spec but on a 330d E91 at the moment. For the same as the E46, I'm not getting change out of 17k, and even then, it's 6-7 years old.

530's & 330's seem to hold stupid value compared to anything i've seen before.

For that sort of money on an E46 I'd want heated seats and the widescreen navigation, not the basic business Nav.

Better value than the Volvo, though.
There's one of these that's been parked collecting dust near a garage in North Shields for years now, wonder if it's worth making an offer...
Why not , if it's cheap. Better still if it's unmodified, even if shabby . Basically, good cars.

I believe I stand corrected CRA1G!

Now that I think about it, 'breadvan' is more commonly used when referring to that little boxy old VW Polo isn't it? I also want to say 'breadvan' ' is used to describe the EP Civic IIRC...

'Clownshoe' is the more commonly used/ accepted term for the Z3 coupe, and I salute you for buying (and not selling) yours. Values are only going one way, and they are genuinely 'cool'.

My point still stands re the non-M/ coupe Z3s being overpriced though. Love my 'stopgap' Z that I've now had for 2.5 years, but can't wrap my head around current values....

Currently looking to swap the family shed and so have been researching S Max's

I can get one new from a broker at a decent price or this baby with 1 lady owner for a 7k supplement:

Yes it has a few options but each time I PX a car I get told they add nothing to the price..............

Are these overpriced? A "job lot" of four 80s/90s hot hatch backs plus a 70s trials bike for 50k. They all look in very good condition but I don't see fifty grands worth of cars there. but then again its hard to value them from a few pictures.

1991 ford fiesta RS turbo 1 owner from new with original 11000 miles

1991 vw golf GTI 8v 150000 miles in Great condition

1986 Vauxhall nova sport only 500 built breathtaking condition

1983 Ford escort RS 1600i very rare in VGC

1977 fantic FM 350 200cc trials bike fully restored a one off

Wow what a nice little collection but no way it's worth £50k.

I'd have the Nova sport at £5k doubt he'd be too please with an offer of that based on asking £50k!

The Fiesta is 1 previous owner for a start, so not 1 owner from new!

I'd say that lot was worth nearer £30k, but what do I know...wobble

It is a lovely collection. I also thought about £5k for the Nova, the Golf around £2-3k depending how nice it is? The two Ford's are harder to price R1600i £10-15k? depending how nice and original it is, the Fiesta RS with only 11,000 miles is a hard one. The only other one on eBay like it with 23,000 miles is £14,995 which again is over priced I think.

Every Harlequin has the same pattern of colors doesn't it?

I'd wondered if they mixed-it-up but I saw 3 in the same place once and they were all the same so I'm assuming???

List is £131k. What's the issue? New, RHD (ugly interior colour, ok) but that's what these cars cost.

If you really want to be shocked have a look at the second hand prices.

(biased comment, I know smile

Nice but not even particularly low mileage is it....... Can't be worth even 1/4 of that asking price surely?
