A car more expensive than the more recent, much improved version of it.

It's a bonkers price, but I have to say to me the 5-cylinder/3-door Mk2 Focus RS is infinitely more desirable than the 4-cylinder/5-door Mk3, even if the latter is the better car.A car more expensive than the more recent, much improved version of it.
I wouldn't want to pay that much for either, but I'd far rather pay say £30k for a used Mk2 than a used Mk3.
The new one just does very little for me sadly
Quite possibly the best photos to go with the highest price for one of these!
Bargain at £100k!

Soon to appear at Hexagon / 4-Star on a rotating white plinth, tyre-blacked, and with £10k added to the asking price? P Reg Astra Gsi in totally average condition? £6500.
On the face of it, in the current climate, £6.5k doesn't seem that silly does it?... Or perhaps I'm just losing it.
Edited to add: I'm basing my judgement having viewed the pictures on a phone screen...

Wrong bonnet isn't it? It should have vents. The red paint has probably been t-cut so much there will be nothing left. P Reg Astra Gsi in totally average condition? £6500.

Not a fully fledged classic and never will be, you'd have to pay a real knobhead to pay more than £2k for this piece of st.

Good examples of those have never been as low as £2k so no idea where you get that price from.http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/2015...

Not sure whether this has already been posted, but certainly dropped my jaw!

Ignoring the fact it's a poverty spec version of an absolutely appalling car, its MOT history doesn't make for the best of reading and you can get a Corsa D which will be a good 4-5 years newer for that money!

Yes, it's ghastly and a horrid colour but a massively better way to spend your cash, and saves you £500 to spend on some nice Whisky to help you forget the misery of what you're driving.
