i dont think that's unreasonable, you can spend 30k on a golf or a civic, and the mini is pretty unique and extremely cool W00DY said:

It's very minty, but at around 10x the price of a decent one it's a tough sell.

this has been for sale for ages.I guess 200 grand seems a lot to spend to be embarrassed by hot hatches in your tat-covered Carrera 2.
As for that Porsche...I wouldn't be worried about being embarrassed by hot hatches...I'd just be embarrassed...period!

With a business name like 'Appreciating Classics' wouldn't a better model be to sell none of them if he genuinely believes they are appreciating classics http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Delivery-Mileage-Ford-Fo...

"I bought the vehicle back some 6 years ago and had SMC Engineering completely rebuild it with 2 x new Leyland Heritage body shells and all new everything at a cost of over £25k."you have to wonder why he bought the original vehicle, and then had essentially a replica of it built?

Cloud cuckoo land http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Delivery-Mileage-Ford-Fo...
I think the low mileage one recently that went for 50k has started a surge in pricing

How about £80K for a (albeit, very nice) W124 E60?
http://www.charlesironside.co.uk/
The website is a bit pants as you can't link to individual cars.

Obviously the price is La La Land, but I've yet to see a 993 that isn't.
and sadly I'm not in any danger of dropping £200k on any car anytime soon

That's a lovely car, the last one I saw was up for £60k and I thought that was optimistic. I would love one but at £80k there are a whole load of cars that I would choose first.http://www.charlesironside.co.uk/

It was the first UK RWB based on a tip 993, you could achieve this for less than £100k to your own spec if you wanted to (kit, wheels, workshop and of course brining th main man over to instal would be less than £30k) - even though some do have monster power they are few and far between. There are three LHD for sale in the US (one a back dated car) for less than $130k to put the price into perspective.
also worth noting if you buy a RWB, it comes with everything every other RWB comes with, st craftsmanship Has this been on here yet?

A 79 mile van though nonetheless. Can't decide if a reasonable value or not to be honest. http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/f...
