"There is no battery in it so I couldn't verify the mileage, but the owner says it is definitely between 150 and 200 miles" oh, ok then.
I don't see how it's that overpriced. A basically delivery mileage car, one of the best Rover ever produced, from a now defunct brand with a large following.

Maybe you missed the bit about it being a £10k Rover.

Or the fact that it was registered over 3 years before the owner bought it, yet he's the only owner? It wouldn't hve been pre registered by Rover with that reg number, and you'd be worried if you had a vehicle in stock for 3 years that you pre registered. Something doesn't add up. And it's not the massive price tag laugh

The Celestial Blue ZS they have, while nice, is ridiculously overpriced and has been for sale for years! As has most of their stock...makes me wonder how they make money.

Shame as if the prices for the low mileage MGR stuff were more reasonable I'd be tempted to go take a look...

It's dropped by £2k now smile

Maybe they need to update photos as well!

That garage is a couple of miles from me! I don't think i've ever seen anyone on the forecourt. £30k for a Rover! It may have a V8 but £30k!

Haven't 4Star been on the go for while?

If they weren't shifting stuff, they'd (or at least you'd think) be reviewing their business model and taking a different tack.

Still pathetcally overpriced, mind.
I'm intrigued as to how much they're actually turning over.

The "BMW Observer Coupe" (a 635 with a retractable glass sunroof that gets sucked down into the boot) has been on their books now for over 4 years. Still not sold. But then at the end of the day it is a 635 that needs a new (custom) glass roof, and is being listed at £20k.

Utterly insane.

Caterhams could be regarded as overpriced cars, and it would be easy to see why some would think this, considering the basic nature of the vehicle, when compared to cars, with roofs, windscreens, air-conditioning, ICE systems, cruise control etc, etc.
But they probably are priced in the same way as illegal drugs, in that when someone gets the `craving' they have to have a `fix', almost regardless of what it might cost them.
That said my Seven is fairly basic, and I have to admit I cannot see where all the thousands, between where the top models and mine actually go. All Sevens are fun to drive, but 35 to 45 thousand pounds more fun than a basic model? not sure about that one.
However when one looks at the price differentials between a Seven, and the few cars that are faster than it, on the TG fast lap board, or EVO`s `How Fast' Bedford tests, perhaps the price differential starts to make some sense (to some)

A lot of the four star stock is sold on behalf of the owner, they add their hefty premium then take some nice photos and handle the sale. Not somewhere I'd buy from but they do sell stuff, whether well below the asking price or not I don't know.

I love Integrale's , have owned one. I can't understand why they are so expensive. They are never selling at the prices they are up at
Was looking at some recently when the video appeared on here. It got me thinking. Circa 1991-1994 the cars in the WRC were? And which were successful? Now have a look at the price differential. How can an Integrale be worth ten times more than say an ST185 GT4 ? Don't get it. Ps I'd still love one smile

All new diesel Audi's and VW's.

They are overpriced and standard equipment is shocking. However they are bought in droves by the masses where appearances matter.

Anybody ahve any figures for how many new Audis were sold in the UK, I am sure here in Aberdeen they must hold the record.

Agreed, dealers don't seem to want to move as much on their prices either so I bought my car from the Volvo garage in Huddersfield where I'm from originally - they were much more accomadating yes
