He's asking more than an entry level poverty spec Boxster or Cayman. Nobody would.

Its speculation.

With that kind of miles, I reckon you'd be looking at early 30's for a RHD Club Sport

Links to an Autotrader ad where the price is also £15k!!!
Looks like they've fixed it on the Autotrader ad.

£1500 is about its worth.

I know they are relatively rare but that has nothing to do with limited numbers made and more to do with the embarrassingly shoddy build quality Fiat churned out.

At £1500 it's a semi interesting shed; anything more is mental beyond belief. No sane person would pay £15k for a 2k miler for a collection!

That Fiat is ridiculous. At no time will that ever be considered a classic I hope.

What are those bidders smoking? They're either shills or it's some really good stuff!
Re-listed and still at silly money - £3600 today

Wow.

We truly are living in amazing and, historically speaking, massively significant times... the all encompassing speculative asset price bubble we're witnessing right now makes all others... The South Sea Bubble, Tulip Mania, Railway Mania, look like minor blips that only involved and affected a relatively small proportion of society.

Students of economics (and probably students of psychology) will be studying and analysing what occurred in the early part of the 21st Century in hundreds of years time and no doubt struggling to make sense of it.

Unrestored car, 30k on the clock, lots of provenance. Not that I know anything about values of classic Mini's, but that price might not be a crazy as it seems?

Not that I'd spend a quarter of that on one biggrin

Yes. And it has failed a lot of MOT's for such a great car as part of a private collection.

And here in lies the problem with people buying into the asset price bubble/Ponzi scheme.... You yourself admit that you know nothing about values of classic mini's and you say wouldn't even spend a quarter of that on one.... and yet still there's ''something'' that makes you think that price might not be as crazy as it seems.

It's people with your admitted lack of knowledge that are buying into this market (often with cheap and easy credit) simply because ''something'' tells them it's worth it.
