Unrestored car, 30k on the clock, lots of provenance. Not that I know anything about values of classic Mini's, but that price might not be a crazy as it seems?
Not that I'd spend a quarter of that on one
And here in lies the problem with people buying into the asset price bubble/Ponzi scheme.... You yourself admit that you know nothing about values of classic mini's and you say wouldn't even spend a quarter of that on one.... and yet still there's ''something'' that makes you think that price might not be as crazy as it seems. Not that I'd spend a quarter of that on one
It's people with your admitted lack of knowledge that are buying into this market (often with cheap and easy credit) simply because ''something'' tells them it's worth it.

I would hope that someone that's looking to buy in to that market place would do some research first. Although having the briefest of looks on Car and Classic shows quite a few cars priced in the mid to late £30's bracket. So on the face of it, (if it really is) an unrestored car with 30k on the clock that's got links to John Cooper and so on probably isn't too far off the pace?
I'm pretty sure it really isn't given the odo clearly reads 63k in the pics (and is confirmed by the MOT history). The seller doesn't seem to be the sharpest fellow if he thinks he can pass that one off. Drive Blind said:

What are those bidders smoking? They're either shills or it's some really good stuff!
