Unrestored car, 30k on the clock, lots of provenance. Not that I know anything about values of classic Mini's, but that price might not be a crazy as it seems?

Not that I'd spend a quarter of that on one biggrin
And here in lies the problem with people buying into the asset price bubble/Ponzi scheme.... You yourself admit that you know nothing about values of classic mini's and you say wouldn't even spend a quarter of that on one.... and yet still there's ''something'' that makes you think that price might not be as crazy as it seems.

It's people with your admitted lack of knowledge that are buying into this market (often with cheap and easy credit) simply because ''something'' tells them it's worth it.
I would hope that someone that's looking to buy in to that market place would do some research first. Although having the briefest of looks on Car and Classic shows quite a few cars priced in the mid to late £30's bracket. So on the face of it, (if it really is) an unrestored car with 30k on the clock that's got links to John Cooper and so on probably isn't too far off the pace?

£3000 for a mk4 '02 plate fiesta Zetec S on Gumtree

having said that it is only 42k miles and looks immaculate. I always liked the look of these, they seemed to be all over the place too, but not anymore.

I'm pretty sure it really isn't given the odo clearly reads 63k in the pics (and is confirmed by the MOT history). The seller doesn't seem to be the sharpest fellow if he thinks he can pass that one off. hehe

Doesnt look that bad for the money though. One owner 24k miles with what I assume is bmw individual paint + interior?

Yep, BMW individual paint & interior. Horrible colour combination.

What are those bidders smoking? They're either shills or it's some really good stuff!
Re-listed and still at silly money - £3600 today

Sold for the log book. Someone just turned their £5k popular into a £50k Mexico.

Interestingly the Figaro and the Mini linked above have both been listed for quite a few weeks unsold. Strange that...
The BMW 328 is completely taking the piss, 30,000 miles or not.

Anyone in the market for a hilariously overpriced Tommi Mak Evo?

It's an auto with an offensively bad interior with bolster wear. No thanks.

The price of that is sensible compared to the £40k he wants for an Escort RS Turbo

Probably on sale or return - it sold for 31k at auction last month - trying to turn a quick profit no doubt

Even at £31k that seems to be a silly price!

Which auction did it sell at?
