Looks tidy and around about the right money for a Turbo. The 24 previous MOT certificates would suggest that's it has a pretty comprehensive service file with it

OK, it isn't in the UK, and cars in Switzerland are more expensive, but trying to say a base model 1997 Lada Samara is a 'classic' and therefore worth north of £2k is a bit of a joke

107k miles and not even the OEM wheeltrims? Not a chance.
Even if it had a third of that mileage AND the oem wheeltrims you would still have to be one seriously gullible mug to even consider it

From Chris Harris's Twitter this morning https://twitter.com/harrismonkey/status/8237870108...

£17k for a 1986 mk2 Astra GTE, with 4 wheel trims and an alloy spare hehe
http://m.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C328896

It's been SORN and kept in storage, but still, £17k?!?

(edited because weird things were happening and it wasn't showing half the post with the direct link to the ad)

JTFC!

Best part of the ad is the spelling errors - "unmolestered", "integeral", "taylor fitted mats", and my favourite "purchased by a matured gentleman". Is that like Cheddar?

Never knew there was a 1.8 GTE, thought there were the 2.0 GTE 8v & 16v versions and the 1.8 was the SRi.

It's been for sale for a while, and the spare wheel isn't correct. Even ignoring the fact that the car has steel wheels, the alloy wasn't around until 88/89ish

For that you could get a 997 4.0RS, or a 991R and a 997.2RS.

Stupid money.
That's Hexagon's MO though

As the £24k 540i Touring illustrates

The average Figaro seems to be demanding £5k+ so £27k for a low miler wont be a typo, just unrealistic.

Maybe the doily head cloths is where they money issmile

Ludicrous. It wasn't worth £20k ten years ago and isn't remotely special, rare or a classic.
