Seems the crazy current prices of Integrales are having a halo effect on some of Lancia's, err, lesser products.

£4k for this??? I didn't even know these existed. Looks like a Delta with a boot. Probably quite a niche market for this car, comprising precisely no-one. It reminds me of my old Delta HF Turbo. The alcantara trim so thin that light shone through it, the comedy 'which fuse will explode today?' electrics.... And the rust. Ohhhhhh.... the rust.

That's a difficult one to call - there are only 4 Prismas in roadworthy condition in the UK - valuing one that looks like it's only a few years old is going to be very difficult. It doesn't feel *too* expensive for a Lancia enthusiast.

But who buys them? I sort of get the appeal of the collectible almost-no-mileage M cars, perhaps, but what about stuff like this?

Who on earth wants an 8 year old diesel E61 SE for the price of an F11, a better car in every way?
I guess there must be a tiny number of people who fit the bill - maybe someone had an E61 and loved it but it died or was written off. Money no object they go out to find the best one they can?

Thinking about it, my grandparents would have happily paid nearly new money for an immaculate low mileage auto Citroen BX back in 1998 but they couldn't find one so compromised with a new Xantia so I guess this is a similar situation.

My grandad did exactly that with a Montego after they went out of production. His was stolen about the same time and some dealer/car finding agent scoured the country to find a brand new Montego. He got one!

True. I can understand the desire for Integrale, Stratos, MonteCarlo, Fulvia, S4, 037, Thema 8.32 (even a Thema turbo) etc, but didn't know they made a Prisma. Somebody will be dragging out a Dedra next.

There's a nice Dedra on eBay... £1995, open to offers.

When I worked in a bodyshop we did a bit of resto on one of those - fastest thing I'd driven at the time by a COUNTRY mile - it had about the same miles and was about the same price

That was 2006 or 2007 tho - I mean, CMON

I saw a Dedra Integrale for sale a couple of years ago for quite a reasonable price. Not sure if there's much demand for them now

Surprised that there are 8 of the Lancia Deirdre remaining in the UK. Didn't know there was an Integrale version. 4WD and the turbo twin-cam 2.0 I take it? I think I only ever saw one Dedra on the road even when it was a current car. I did know someone with a Y10 though....

My former local specialist in High Wycombe had one of those as a courtesy car - lovely alcantara interior.

That's the one, 180bhp and 4WD, but all LHD though I think. One turned up for sale in Dublin with supposed low mileage, and was very tempted for a fun winter runabout

I'm guessing someone got an offer and so set a silly price to deter buyers but so that they could return it to a normal price if the buyer backs out (you see this a lot on regular shop eBay listings - not so much on cars?)

Hexagon also have an E39 540M Wagon which they want a mere £23,995 for - what the fk are they smoking?

http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/b...

There's a B10 on here for less

http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/b...

and I think that's a slightly mad price!!
