Went to look at a Lotus Evora yesterday. They want ~£83k for what is basically a posh gokart. Absolutely ridiculous.

Was discussed on one of the barge thread recently. Current seller bought it not long ago, took photos on gravel and added about £3k to the price.

I don't really know if this is OP or not for what it is but I do think £18k for a celica GT4 is rather much.

Ebay- Celica GT4 RC Carloz sainz

one of the other cars they have in dry storage is a impreza WRX Type R for £13.5k. In those photos they also have what looks like a charade GTI, wonder if they'll sell that?

certain classic car dealers have had cars on their web sites for more than a year, quite desireable cars too so they must be overpriced or they would have sold.

Almost certainly for the paperwork to attach to a false one.

Although I prefer the Celica, I think the Subaru could prove a shrewd investment over the next 10 years.

yes
In fairness to the seller, it was listed at a start of £250, which seems a bit more like it.

Wowzers, big bucks. Both would be lovely for any collection though. Makes me miss my ST185 frown especially at that money !!!

He's done 3k miles in 6 years. All that effort and money just to stare at the slightly barried 306 in your garage.

how about the corrado vr6 that is so overpriced, they have dropped another 5k off the asking price ( which is still about 10k over priced anyway ). both adverts still live.

Did they used to 4 star classics? Style of pics look very similar.

Bloody lovely car though. Find another one in that condition (hence the optimistic price!).

The 20k advert says sold, the 25k advert says for sale?

makes sense. if it doesn't sell after 6 months, it must have been too cheap so time to bang another 5k on it smile ( think that is how the "classics" game works ).
