Hasn't even put it in for an MOT, so he must know it's shagged.

There's always some good comedy on the Porsche forecourt where newish, low mileage used cars cost almost the same as ordering brand new. Apparently quite a few customers have suddenly come into some money from a bonus, legacy or whatever and "want a car now" - so are willing to pay.

12 grand plus (12" Alpine sub+Amp, Parrot MKi9200 can stay if right price)
18" genuine Pegasus wheels (2x sets available - one set on the car, one in the garage £1700 per set min)

That's comedy. I can only assume he doesn't actually want to sell it and put an ad up to keep the wife happy.

Love the photos of it in bits, great way to show the car off. £12k, No MOT and 20 miles on a new hybrid turbo, what could possibly go wrong? scratchchin

I'm not entirely convinced it is a genuine AMG either.

Badges on the boot are the wrong way round for a start

I remember when I first saw this sat on his forecourt at least 2-3 years ago. It's a little local place that's very well known for stupidly overpriced stuff but this one is definitely his crowning example. A completely unappealing vehicle in a horrible colour which seems to have only one feature that may give it some value; 16k miles (3 owners, sure...).

It is still sat there now, rain or shine, and no doubt has rotted half away by now. And he still hasn't dropped the price! After 3 years sat in the weather not going anywhere I think he'd be lucky to get £495 for it now.

Nice gap above the passenger side headlight on that Cavalier... had a bit of a prang, maybe?

Engine bay is a familiar sight - had a mate who drove a succession of dodgy MK2 Cavs 20 odd years ago. I seem to recall that we could do cam swaps in under an hour (as practice makes perfect). Bloody things used to eat top ends, but it probably didn't help that we tended to buy used cams & heads from the local scrappy for 20 quid a time.

Ah, memories of being young and stupid...

Just look at the Piaggio Porters that hes selling. Drive past them everyday on the way to work. Cant see anyone paying £15k for a 50cc delivery moped with a roof.

It's expensive but I quite like that.

It is the Connoisseur version though. If Terry Thomas was alive today he'd snap that up in a second.

This is insane pricing: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1991-Peugeot-205-1-6-GTi...

It's a 1.6 (which historically go for notably less money than 1.9s). It is a Phase 2 (the least desirable, IMO). It isn't concourse. It is nowhere near "the finest example to be offered for sale".

It's really nice, and original, and if you were after one it would be certainly the best available right now. But you'd be absolutely off your tits to pay 23k for a Ph2 1.6!!

Just because it's old and low mileage doesn't mean it's worth that much, hence why it's unsold, not exactly the nicest of cars to drive 30 years ago and even worse now. Not exactly a stunning classic example of a car, it's like an old Aiwa stereo.
