On the one hand it's a very rare car in completely new condition and mileage.

On the other hand, it's been registered for nearly eight years and standing around for probably ten years.

At a reasonable price (considering the cost of sorting it out to new standard), it would be a nice car. But not for thirty grand. Maybe one day though

There were only ever fourteen 993 turbo cabrios produced, in a limited run in 1995. They had the engine and running gear out of a 964 turbo strangely enough, so 360bhp, a single turbo and RWD rather than the 402bhp, twin turbos and 4WD of the standard 993 turbo.

I can see a 993 turbo cabrio being worth quite a bit to a dedicated Porsche collector who just has to have as many limited-edition cars as possible but 1.3 million Euros does seem like strong money.

Thailand has an import tax of 100% does it not for imported cars? All cars are expensive out there, which is why there used to be a big problem with people buying new Mercedes over here and bouncing them straight out of the country to Thailand. Lots of ex chauffeur S Class end up out there
