It does say more pictures and a normal price once it arrives with them, or atleast that's what I understood from the bottom of the description.
By the time I had finished laughing I couldn't be bothered to read all the advert though.

Thailand has an import tax of 100% does it not for imported cars? All cars are expensive out there, which is why there used to be a big problem with people buying new Mercedes over here and bouncing them straight out of the country to Thailand. Lots of ex chauffeur S Class end up out there
Not all cars, no. The new Ford Ranger as an example sells for 10K GBP less in Thailand than the UK and Oz. They encourage the stimulation of their own manufacturing industry.

Anything imported generally goes for stupid money. Rumor has it the new Civic Type-r will be around 100K GBP for special import. Madness!

I remember the first time I went over there and saw the price of a new Peugeot 306, I'm surprised anyone ever bought one biggrin

Tax is between 150-300% on cars.

One of my Thai friends in bangers is currently selling his 1999 Jag S-Type 4.0 v8 for equivalent of 40k gbp

I can't help feeling that you guys didn't read the whole advert, particularly the bit at the bottom where the seller says that they know that the car isn't worth £100K and that the advert is juts a publicity piece because they haven't even got the car in their showroom yet.

And I can't help feeling you haven't read the bit that states that's an edit added after we saw the ad and commented on here.

It wasn't on these when I read it.

So it's gone from an ultra rare worth £100k Capri to a 'actually we were just joshing and yeah there's a bunch of other G reg Capris out there.

Riiiight.

I want to know what happens after you buy that £30,000 beige Rover 75 and decide after let's say - 6 months and 1,000 miles - what the lovely people at that garage would give you if you decide to trade it back in? £5k? £8k? £10k?!

Either way you will never get your money back and driving off the forecourt in the sunset having just unloaded £30k you've instantly halved that money. Utter delusionists....

No no no, didn't you read the ad? It will leave 911's and SL AMG's for dust. A perfectly good E30 M3 ruined. Take out fantastic engine and replace with heavy, non-M v8, genius. Oh and it doesn't drive currently as clutch pedal has dropped to floor. Shill bidding all the way I'd say.

Now I love Alfa Romeos. Especially the GTA breed.

But is it worth as near as makes no difference £20k. As lovely as it is, this is the type of thing this great thread is all about. On real terms it's 50% over for me

It has been for sale for about 10 years. Last year for about 9k. Trading standards likes the guy selling it !
