It's over priced but it isn't a terrible car.

It has 170 bhp so while it's not going to set your hair on fire it has enough. It's a cruiser so probably more suited to an autobox anyway.

It's on the steep side but for a low miles, FSH, vaguely "posh" BMW convertible I'd say it's OK for the right person. Not everyone's after power, speed and mega handling. Someone after a comfortable, relaxing and reasonably practical cabrio that looks fancy enough to impress the neighbours could do a lot worse for the money.

Just one? In my eyes it would still be overpriced at 7.5k.

Weirdly I can sort of understand that one - they disintegrated and disappeared in the 90s.

Its overpriced though - 4k would be more realistic for it.

5years ago When I had just got my driving license someone offered me 205gti for sale, I had a look at that car, thought it would be a fun cheap car to just destroy on dirt roads, but went to my senses and paid 30x more for decent car that I still drive today.

I could have bought the thing for 120euros!! Neither the guy selling it nor me thought anything much of it and had no idea that it might have some future value as well it was just a total hoopty. oh well biggrin I still think it's junk.

So I stumbled on these earlier
We have an old EF Civic nothing overly special about it really, it isn't the SiR £5250
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/162111965053

Then there is this Integra DB8, what's it got going for itself? One Recaro, horrid steering wheel and obviously boost gauges so you know when Tec is kicking in, oh and 2 extra doors, it's got everything you want in an Integra......... yeah..... Least he has dropped his price a bit from £7995 to £7650,
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/162111963818

Why wouldn't you want that car? Who would want a really nice 98 spec 2 door for a little more ( http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1999-Honda-Integra-Type-... ), when you could have this 4 door saloon?

For me though, this is the best one of the lot, reduced now to £3650 because it didn't sell at £5,000, the EK Saloon with a lovely D16 engine, Type R's watch out this thing is a gem, honestly your nan would love this for going to the Sainsburys car cruises, by that I mean shopping, best bit is where it says it was "stanced" on butchered springs at one point, lovely jubbly.

Someone should let him know he is importing the wrong cars and ask several thousand pounds too much for them.
