Saab 900 turbo... always wanted one of these, but not at £22,500!

Quite so. A pity there is no Zoopla equivalent for cars so that we could all see what they actually go for. Often such cars hang around for ages, then disappear. Shame PHs don't have a snoopers' charter!

Saw a 306 GTI up for £8k. A Dimma convertible was going for almost double that on the bay of the E.

Nuts.

I dont think that's too unreasonable :/

Less mileage than your average 4 year old family hatch, and probably 3x more reliable.

This is two fifths of the price of the kgf one:

http://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C644553

Very similar. 3 grand saving.

A late j reg efi example for me though please. 150bhp, silver, Spanish, with cow. One of those with 50k and a good history and zero rust (ha!) might just be worth 5k. Maybe. In a couple of years.

A golf GTI colour concept £4995 starting bid.
A loved car but not £5k of love.
Here's a similar example for £800 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/mk3-golf-gti-2-0-8v-colo...

Not in a rude way but I wonder how he came to that price when making the ad, genuinely curious.

Does 'colour concept' mean 'colour coded interior' or something extra?

I can't find anything about them but I think it's just paint, seats and a couple of badges.
I personally like the Bon Jovi edition as the whole thing makes absolutely no sense.

Wow, what a price. I regret not buying a 900 Turbo when they were ten a penny. I missed a lovely white one with colour coded bumpers and three spoke wheels for £2750 a few years ago because I couldn't be arsed to get a train to Crawley.

I mean it's lovely and everything, but £8k seems strong!

Good car for ChemicalChaos?

I can't understand why anyone would want a Bon Jovi edition of a car laugh

Unmolested examples of those are very hard to find

They're popular with the 'drift' scene

Well, he thought of a number. There is absolutely no science involved in pricing older cars. With newer popular models it's done by looking at other ads on on line. not so with older cars which are a bit different. However, very disappointing that this is a Mk 3 Golf, the corrosive dud of the entire Golf line.

The came with a few extras. Essentially colour coded heated leather Recaros which were to this day the nicest seat I've ever sat in, electric sunroof, tinted lights and exclusive alloy wheels, can't remember much more. They came in Yellow, Green, Blue and Black (can't imagine black standing out much) I had a yellow one (sounds awful I know) but of all the cars I've ever had the only one people still ask about and where it went is that one. Everyone loved it. As a car it was actually quiet a pleasant thing, as a Golf GTI is was terrible.

Thanks. I've heard of them but I wasn't sure quite what was special about them
